Our story
A Colorado brand, built by Coloradans, serving Coloradans — since 1985.

Chris Cakes of Colorado was established as an independent Colorado trade name in 1985 — not a franchise, not a license, not an affiliate. An independent Colorado operation, owned and operated by Coloradans from the start.

Current ownership acquired the business in 2011, bringing with it a documented chain of title and a commitment to the same independent, community-rooted operation the brand was built on. Over the next twelve years, we served thousands of events across the Front Range — corporate breakfasts, community fundraisers, school events, festivals, and private celebrations.

We paused operations in 2024 with every intention of returning — either restarting as a family venture or passing the brand to new hands through a careful sale. The name, the domain, and the legacy are still ours. We are back in action and proud to be here.

The owner

A US Army veteran with a Master's degree in Accounting and an active CPA license — and fifteen years of experience owning and operating one of Colorado's premier event venues alongside a full-service catering company.

The background isn't incidental. It means every decision about how to run Chris Cakes of Colorado has been made by someone who understands food service operations, event logistics, and the numbers behind a sustainable catering business at a level most operators never reach.
